It's time for another festival outfit share, as I've said in my previous posts, I can't wait for my next festivals, May, June and August are looking amazing at the moment. If I'm lucky I'll fit in another festival in July as well but I've not booked anything yet. I think this outfit is a good chill day outfit when your mooching around the campsite, shopping at the stalls or partying in the evenings. You can mix it up with different footwear, belts or tees and throwing a bumbag across body will complete the festival look more so!


Primark has been one of my favourite stores pretty much forever (since they were a thing anyway) and they've got some amazing spring/summer items in now with all the festival wear you can think of. This snake print midi dress was a sale pick up, £7.00 reduced from £15.00 and the print also comes in a skirt, vest top and bumbag.


I wouldn't tend to wear this style of dress on its own so pairing it with a tee underneath is totally on trend and makes the dress easy to wear for lots of occasions not just festivals. This black mesh tee is from Simply Be, it's long sleeved but breathable and cool and quite long in length if you wanted to wear this with other outfits.

Who hasn't got a western themed belt this season??? This was another Primark bargain at just £5.00 its the cheapest I've seen on the high street. The buckle does open from each end so it's adjustable even though it is one size, I've added this to many outfits since buying it and it can also be worn on jeans but you do have to undo both buckles for this. I finished the outfit off with a River Island bucket bag which has snake print detail on the strap so matches my dress perfectly; my sister gave me this bag so was a freebie. My boots are from Koi Footwear, I featured these in my last festival post but they are so comfortable, I've had them on so much and I think they are definitely a festival fashion piece. The glorious weather this bank holiday weekend has really got me ready for festival season! Although my first festival of the year was last month, that was a pretty small venue and all indoors so I'm really looking forward to May for Slam Dunk Festival. Ahead of the summer festivals I like to explore the new festival fashion in my favourite stores and from my favourite brands; Primark has done pretty well this season and I've picked up some awesome pieces.


Some of Primark's festival pieces are included in the beachwear section which is where I picked up this mesh tee. It's printed, long and t-shirt style so can be worn in all kind of ways; throw it over your swimwear for a cover up, add some denim shorts underneath with a vest top or like I have done here add a leotard underneath for a true festival style look. This was only £6.00 too so it's a bargain!

The leotard doubles up as some chub rub pants for me so it's perfect for the warmer weather and being on my feet all day. I like to feel comfortable and be myself as much as possible when I'm out enjoying myself and I truly feel like myself in this outfit!


Footwear is pretty important for festivals as you need something comfortable, weather proof and of course fashionable so I've picked up some new Koi Footwear Vespasian boots which have an Alien detail on the upper foot with chains and a yellow trim plus they are flatforms so perfect for gaining a little bit of height in the festival crowd.


Wearing glasses can be a little bit of pain sometimes when I have to switch up to my sunglasses but now I've been using the Le Kevin* glasses holder which means I can keep my distance glasses around my neck whilst wearing my sunnies. The Le Kevin glasses holder is made from real leather and comes in a range of colours, I think this orange shade is great for summer season and goes well with my fashion style.


All together with this outfit and the sunshine I was feeling really good and body positive this weekend and hope to bring that to the festivals I'm attending during the next few months.

Sometimes all you need is a good outfit to change your mood... and that's exactly what I have here with this colourful, sassy and comfortable number. I'd say the majority of my wardrobe is black but I do like to throw in some colour and when I do I think bright and wonderful.


Recently UK Tights got in touch and were kind enough to send me a couple of pairs of *Pamela Mann's new Specialist Tights for the Curvy Figure. I was really excited to get the tights to try them on after having had trouble finding comfortable and good fitting tights in the past. I actually really like Pamela Mann as a brand and UK Tights are absolutely wonderful in delivering the best quality brands on their site.


UK Tights have many colours in stock of these super-stretch tights that actually fit in all the right places, from the first time putting them on I was impressed and felt like I could move around freely; not worrying about my tights falling down around my waist or between my legs. Instead the stretch technology allows for full movements, comfort and a fantastic style! This pair is the Cerise colour and I also have the Charcoal to wear throughout winter with all my favourite skirts and dresses.


I went out after receiving the tights and picked out the perfect outfit to go with the Cerise pair. Primark's Autumn/Winter ranges have been amazing this year and they recently released a collection with Stacey Solomon, I was instantly drawn to the leopard print dot skirt. It's a little flowy than I would usually go for but I absolutely love the print and the green background colour is beautiful. Pairing it with the £4.00 slogan tee also from the collection, the tee makes a statement saying 'Living my best Life'. The Cerise tights contrast the green skirt and completely stand out in the best way possible!!!


Of course adding more Leopard print is a Gem thing to do and everyone pretty much knows that now, I picked up these basic boots also from Primark and thought what the hell with it; I will wear what I want and how I want it. Lastly with the cold weather and the Pamela Mann tights keeping my legs warm I added a good old coat that I picked up last year from LOTD; pretty sure this was was a sale pick up too.


So I am going to be basically living in these tights all winter and I'm sure I can find some more colourful pieces of clothing to pair them with.

Fashion is a huge part of my life and I like to express myself through what clothing, accessories and footwear I wear. I’ve gone through many trends over my teenage years and now well into my 20's and I still came out loving an alternative style.

We are all dreaming of warmer times especially with this snowy weather we've got this week, I'm so over the cold and I'm dreaming of festival season and warmer months. Who wants to sit in beer gardens, go to the beach, have BBQ's, party at festivals and just hang out with friends in the lighter evenings? I sure do and my wardrobe is so ready for some warmth too.

Now we've got the lighter evenings coming back and us bloggers are loving to the extra daylight, I went out on Sunday when it wasn't snowing and was a little bit warmer than its been the rest of the week. I dragged my friends out with me and brought my best friends dogs along for the shoot too. I wanted to kick start my fashion posts for the year and set a routine to go out shooting more, I wanna get my confidence up and be smashing fashion posts out a few times a month.


We headed to the park and grabbed an ice cream first in the cafe, the cafe is also dog friendly so my friend got the doggos an ice cream too; can't leave them out can we. I'd spent the morning trying to put an outfit together but running late and the fact it was Sunday it didn't exactly go to plan... I did however put on my new Tartan pants which I got for just £1.00! Yes one whole English pound, thanks Primark! To be honest I don't really know why they was a pound but my store only had this one pair, in my size so maybe they was a return from a bigger store; still for a quid I was buzzing!


I paired the tartan with a basic slogan tee also from Primark and since I was late to meeting my friends it made for a perfect excuse (jokes). This tee was also a bargain at only £2.50, they have some awesome basic tee's in at the moment, I always have a gander when I go into store. After being at London Edge last month I've been searching for a beret and I found some awesomely cheap ones on eBay, at around £2.49 each I bought a black, red and grey one; I can't believe how comfy they are to wear and they are so on trend right now!


Of course I still needed a coat on Sunday even though it was a little warmer so I grabbed my faithful faux leather jacket that I practically live in during spring to autumn. This was another Primark bargain from ages ago, I'd had my eyes on it from when it first hit the Manchester store but couldn't afford it but thankfully waiting a little bit meant it went into the sale; I picked it up for just £10.00! Every time I wear it people always compliment me on it and say they can't believe it's from Primark. Under my jacket for warmth I added one of my Jawbreaker cardigans, I've become a big fan of Jawbreaker after finding out they have my size; Grin in Liverpool stock Jawbreaker so I managed to get this cardi for £9.99 which I thought was a decent price.


The only thing I was wearing that wasn't Primark was my Fenty X Puma's that I got for Christmas, I was so shocked and pleased when I opened these on Xmas day, I hate to use the saying but "the boy did good". They are super comfy, have an alternative look to them with the creeper style sole and can be worn with so many outfits. My makeup of the day was kept simple with a smokey eye using my UD Smokey palette and a red lip using Lola Makeup matte lipstick and liner (check back this week for a review on Lola Makeup).

This was probably the most thrown together outfit, shoot plan and dogs aren't that easy to work with, trust me but it was good to get out and shoot with the help of my friends. I really need to do this more, I've got loads of outfits actually planned and I've been location spotting in Manchester. So what's your plans for Spring?

Are you thinking about summer? I am! The beautiful sunny weather we've had lately and today I didn't even need a jacket, yes for warmer weather, yes for sunshine and yes for summer plans; who's with me?

If you caught my last couple of fashion posts you'll of seen that I featured a couple of Lindy Bop dresses and I have my final instalment from that short series here. I'm truly grateful to Lindy Bop for sending me the dresses over and have really enjoyed putting together these blog posts and photoshoots; I hope there will be other opportunities in the future. I also discussed with Sophie from Lindy Bop about interviewing her at London Edge in September so I hope that can go ahead as well.


So I think I've saved the most summery dress of the lot til last and I think its perfect timing to show you the *Brittany Pink Verona Print Love Heart Swing Dress in all it's glory and how I've styled this dress with my alternative personal style. The dress has an amazing print that's got a very romantic theme to it in my opinion with the city buildings, roses, tattoo style heart print and text. My favourite parts of the print is the swallows carrying the hearts across the top of the dress and the bright red roses on the bottom of the dress, both of these are just small details within the full print and the closer you look at the dress the more you see. You can get lost within the print and create your own love story by just looking at it.

This dress was the first dress to catch my eye on the London Edge Catwalk back in February not only because of the heart shaped back detail but the print really stood out to me. I'm actually visiting the romantic city of Paris in October and I've already got this dress on my packing list and can't wait to wear it around Paris and Disneyland.


Lindy Bop dresses are always true to size and comfortable to wear, this 'Brittany' style dress is shaped perfectly for my body type; it goes in at the waist, has a flared out skirt that doesn't necessarily need an underskirt/tutu and the cap sleeves fit snugly but comfortably. If I was to wear this dress to a wedding or event I would wear a tutu underneath to enhance the shape of the dress and give my look a more glamorous feel but I think the dress stands up for itself alone for a party look or everyday style. The dress is made from Lindy Bop's special matte finish stretch poly fabric which adds to the comfort of the fit and gives the dress a beautiful shine so the print really stands out. Getting in and out of the dress is also super easy with a concealed underarm zip and 3 cute button fastenings at the top of the heart shaped back detail.


Of course I always like to add my style to any outfit and wearing a pretty dress isn't my everyday style but it sure could be. I added one of my faux leather jackets to this look which helped with the occasional cool breeze whilst I was out shooting. I choose to wear my Black Embroidered Western Boots that I bought from Misguided after Christmas, I thought the rose detail on the boots matched the rose detail on the dress whilst the studs added my grunge style to the outfit. I absolutely love these boots and Misguided have become a favourite place to shop for me, their customer service is on point and they always have amazing deals on. I did find I had to go up a size with these boots because they are pointed but are a good and comfortable fit still.


Lastly I can't go into Primark lately without a new bag catching my eye so I had to buy this Pale Pink Crossbody bag. I thought the swallow bird detail on the clasp totally went with the swallow print on the dress and was the main reason I bought the bag; at just £7.00 I thought it was a bargain too. I don't really feel like the bag looks like a cheap bag nor does it feel like one; the bags quality is top notch for the budget price. The stitching is good, fastening is easy to use, the strap is strong and holds the bag well and finally the buckle detail looks hard wearing. I've been using this bag for a few days now and can fit all my belongings inside that I need on a daily basis including my full size purse, keys, hand gel, mirror, lipstick and a pen.


My full outfit really shows my personalty I think, I may have a pretty dress on but I can still be my alternative styled self and look good doing so. I also wanted my makeup to stand out by wearing a bad ass red lipstick again adding to my personal style and red lipstick is something I wear regularly; I'm quite comfortable wearing an intense red shade and you can't go wrong with a red lip in my opinion.

On Saturday I was lucky enough to attend the Curve Fashion Festival at the Exhibition Centre in Liverpool, I was very excited about the event and planned my outfit for the day.
This is also my first full outfit of the day post on my blog, I've used my Instagram to post #ootd photos previously but never published a full blog post. I wanted to take this opportunity to tell you about my outfit and hopefully this can be the start of something new for me and my blog.

My outfit planning started with my skirt, I found this leather-look skirt in my local Debenhams store at the Warehouse concession for just £10.00 reduced from £38.00! I wasn't sure about Warehouse sizes as I'd never purchased from them before so I did try this on in store and it was a perfect fit, don't you love it when you find something that fits nicely and your comfortable wearing it? What I particularly like about this skirt is that it has pockets; I've not seen many leather-look skirts with pockets before so I was chuffed that I'd have somewhere to put my phone. The raw hem on the skirt is also a little different to what I'd seen on other skirts so I like that feature too.

I teamed my Warehouse skirt with a £6.00 tee from Primark, this t-shirt took my fancy because I loved the little heart patch. The appliquéd patch says 'not yours' in the middle of the red heart which is a little fun statement that, to me gives this tee an alternative feel to it. The red patch contrasts against the black and white stripe making it stand out. I tucked my tee into my skirt so you get the full effect of the skirt and all the details of the tee are on the upper part of the shirt anyway.


Of course I wore tights with the skirt as I'm not too confident wearing a skirt in general and I wasn't sure what the weather would be doing on Saturday; lucky the rain stayed clear but there was a cool breeze so the tights was a good option. Now to my boots... I freaking love these boots!!

Asos had these boots on sale a while ago and they was consistently out of stock; I was stalking the website daily to check for stock updates and one day they had a pair in stock and they was in my size, I think it was meant to be. These chunky heeled buckle boots are very comfortable even with the heel because the sole is very flat; the insole is also cushioned for comfort. The zip up the inside makes putting them on easy and again comfortable. I choose to style these boots with my outfit to add to the edgey look I was going for; I'd say these boots are more on the alternative side.


I wore a jacket when not inside event building and this was a black silky bomber jacket purchased from Matalan; these where £25.00 but I had a 25% off voucher so I got the jacket for £18.75. I'm always on the hunt for a bargain or using vouchers to save money because who doesn't like spending less?

Finally to the star of my outfit and to what caused a stir throughout the day; my handbag! This 'Crappy Meal' handbag was brought from DollsKill last year when they had a sale on; it cost me around £15.00 in the end which was a steal and I ordered it on one of the free international shipping weekends. From getting off the train in Liverpool to arriving back at home my bag was getting compliments, stares and one woman even took a photograph and started to google happy meal bags! The inside of the bag is quite roomy even through it doesn't look like it, I managed to fit my camera, purse, keys, makeup, a tote bag and a coin purse inside. I choose to use this bag because it is red and matched the red patch on my tee and my lipstick for the day which was Urban Decay's shade Iracebeth from the Alice Through the Looking Glass collection.


So here you have it, my first OOTD post which now I've got to the end of it, I'm pretty nervous to click that publish button; I'm out of my comfort zone and hate having my photograph taken but I'm trying to change that and be a little more confident.
