My Casual wardrobe featuring Jawbreaker*

December 02, 2018

Now I cannot tell you how many times I have shot this outfit! I've just not loved the photos, not because of the clothes mind as I've had this Jawbreaker Boyfriend Shirt* on so much since I received it but just because sometimes the shots don't come out as you wanted them too; am I right bloggers?

Anyway as we all know I've been a fan of Jawbreaker Clothing for ages now and have been lucky enough to work with them on my blog so here is my latest addition to my wardrobe. I first spotted this shirt at London Edge in September and instantly fell in love with it, the detailing on the back is just beautiful and so unique. It adds so much more to a plain black shirt and because its on the back and not the front it's more different than other brands.

Since I've shot the shirt a couple of times, I've worn it with a few outfits all of which have an alternative edge to them and are totally my style. It's now a stable in my wardrobe and a go to piece that's easy to wear. One of my first outfits wearing the shirt I decided to pair it with some wet-look leggings which I think matches the detail on the back of the shirt.

To complete my outfit I added my Strange Cvlt Slime Creepers, Disturbia bag and black beret which I've attached a couple of Punky Pin's to the front. Overall this outfit can be worn daily or with a few tweaks would be comfortable and perfect for a night out; maybe just throw on some heeled boots and loose the beret. Another new piece of clothing that I've been wearing a lot lately is this Marks & Spencer coat* which I was gifted to wear at Curve Fashion Festival. It works well with everything because of the colour and square stitch detail that just adds that detail and style to the coat.

Another day, another outfit and out comes the Jawbreaker shirt* again but this time a different pair of leggings and another coat. The shirt works really well with any leggings or even your favourite black jeans then grab your Dr Martens and boom an alternative outfit that turns heads. As you see my hair needs a refresh here too but the orange colour makes the yellow in the coat stand out.

With lots of options to wear the shirt with and that hint of details on the back grabs peoples attention and makes them look closer. I personally really like how the sleeves fit too, with a little room then the button cuff gives the shirt some more shape and a stylish look. I also added another alternative branded bag to this outfit, with my Jelly Jolly Bag which I've been using as a cross body bag rather than a backpack.

So what would you wear the shirt with?
