It's time for another festival outfit share, as I've said in my previous posts, I can't wait for my next festivals, May, June and August are looking amazing at the moment. If I'm lucky I'll fit in another festival in July as well but I've not booked anything yet. I think this outfit is a good chill day outfit when your mooching around the campsite, shopping at the stalls or partying in the evenings. You can mix it up with different footwear, belts or tees and throwing a bumbag across body will complete the festival look more so!


Primark has been one of my favourite stores pretty much forever (since they were a thing anyway) and they've got some amazing spring/summer items in now with all the festival wear you can think of. This snake print midi dress was a sale pick up, £7.00 reduced from £15.00 and the print also comes in a skirt, vest top and bumbag.


I wouldn't tend to wear this style of dress on its own so pairing it with a tee underneath is totally on trend and makes the dress easy to wear for lots of occasions not just festivals. This black mesh tee is from Simply Be, it's long sleeved but breathable and cool and quite long in length if you wanted to wear this with other outfits.

Who hasn't got a western themed belt this season??? This was another Primark bargain at just £5.00 its the cheapest I've seen on the high street. The buckle does open from each end so it's adjustable even though it is one size, I've added this to many outfits since buying it and it can also be worn on jeans but you do have to undo both buckles for this. I finished the outfit off with a River Island bucket bag which has snake print detail on the strap so matches my dress perfectly; my sister gave me this bag so was a freebie. My boots are from Koi Footwear, I featured these in my last festival post but they are so comfortable, I've had them on so much and I think they are definitely a festival fashion piece. Party season is nearly upon us and I've been thinking about what to wear, with Halloween celebrations, a couple of birthdays then of course Christmas and New Year I need something that is versatile , comfortable and my style!


Que the 'Angelique Purple Twin Set'* from Lindy Bop, this is a dress I can style for any celebration, occasion or event. The team at Lindy Bop kindly sent me this dress to style up and wear during the upcoming party season. Lindy Bop are a vintage style clothing brand who mainly stock vintage inspired dresses but they also have; skirts, trousers, shirts, bags and accessories. If you like the vintage or retro look then I'm sure you'll find something you love at Lindy Bop.


The Angelique twin set is made of a beautiful brocade fabric in my favourite colour, purple and is simple yet screams vintage style. The full swing skirt flows outwards without a petticoat but one can be worn for a full skirt look; I'd wear a petticoat for an evening event with this dress. With a matching crop jacket I don't have to think about what to match the dress with although the dress looks awesome without the jacket also but the colder months mean we need a cover up.


With my other Lindy dresses I found the fits to be true to size but I always check the size guides as some dress styles are different to others, with this Angelique I found it to be quite roomy so it's super comfortable to wear. The fastening is an easy back zip that lets you get in and out of the dress easily then the crop jackets has a press stud fastening with a feature button on the front.


For my styled look I wanted to bring a little bit of my favourite time of year... Halloween into the outfit. I decided to style the dress for a Halloween party but with a little elegance too. Adding a pair of my Iron Fist Boots with the bat wings and this gorgeous headband that came from Kiss Products as a gift; adding a pair of black tights for warmth and I'm ready for the Halloween celebrations.


Next month I have a Birthday party to attend so I could add some sparkly heels and a clutch to complete the look and bring a little more party to the outfit. I particularly like that I can wear the dress without the jacket as I think it looks great without it, the bow detail in middle really keeps the dress looking cute and retro.


I wanted my shoot location to show the autumn weather and nature which I think we captured here at Haigh Hall. I also had the idea of making the photos look a little old as if they were shot on film, I believe this adds to the vintage feel of the dress and the overall look.

How beautiful has the weather been this bank holiday weekend, its something of a rare thing for the UK to have such nice weather on long weekends. Our summer's suck usually and after this weekend I'm just hoping we get more sun-filled days. I'm totally in the mood for festival season too, I've actually got my first festival at the end of the month; this will kick start my summer!

Wearing tights can be troublesome sometimes; when they fall down, roll down over your tummy, don’t fit well or are made from low quality fabric. I’ve struggled previously to find tights suitable for my body shape and to find comfortable tights to wear all day long.
