I was really pleased when UK Lingerie got in touch, I do struggle a little to find comfortable lingerie in my size and to find good quality items in my desired style. I was happy to accept a review opportunity from them and I am very impressed with the whole process from service to delivery to product quality.

UK Lingerie is a website selling lingerie, loungewear, sleepwear and shape-wear for all shapes and sizes, it was born in 2015 after the success of their first two sites; UK Tights and UK Swimwear. Dawn (The Boss and Buyer for the company) and her husband thought their was a gap in the market for a good quality lingerie reseller, they also wanted to add good customer service into the mix and felt that this would give them an edge to move forward in the market and set them apart from other retailers. I personally think customer service is key in every business and without it you wouldn't have customers so I really like that their service is of high importance to them. The website has a wide range of products to choose from and something for everyone, I was tooting through the website at ease and found lots of products to my style and in my size too.

Pour Moi has a French name but is a brand from Cheshire, were their creative team design in house and they personally take care of the whole process from design to delivery. They work on high standards of fit, comfort and quality and bring out the latest trends in beautiful designs and fabrics. They supply bra sizes from A to J and some briefs go up to a size UK 22.


I was told to choose a lingerie set from the website, I found a summery set which wasn't something I'd normally go for but thought this would be a good opportunity to try something new. The set was dispatched the same day and arrived the next day packaged in a purple parcel bag and I was updated all the way through the process. The delivery and service was absolutely brilliant and I can't fault any of this; I can definitely recommend them on their customer service!

This Amour Underwired non padded bra* and brief set is a beautiful turquoise shade which has a pastel mint colour in person. The bra has lace detail all over with a scalloped hem around the bust line and underneath at the sides. The lace has a floral design in it which adds that delicate feel, add this to the white bow embellishments in the middle of the bra and at the bottom of the straps and you've got a elegant bra design. The straps themselves are a good size in width and sit comfortably on my shoulders, they are of course adjustable so you can get the best fit possible for you.

The all over fit of the bra is pretty much perfect for me, I usually struggle to find a comfortable bra where I don't feel the wire digging in or the back being too tight even on the last clasp; this Pour Moi bra has a good true to size fit. I can go in a few bra shops and come out with a few different sizes, I ordered my regular size and its a good match. I have worn this bra a few times now and have felt comfortable all day, I don't usually go for non-padded bras but I feel very secure and have a natural shape when wearing this bra.



The matching Amour Shorty style brief* has the same beautiful floral lace all over the front of the knicker and a sheer back. The scalloped hem detail continues around the front of the brief matching the bra perfectly, theres also bow embellishments on the front and back; the back also has a cute peep hole cut out at the top which gives them a sexy but cute feel. The shorty style makes for a comfortable fit with no movement when worn under clothing, the back hem hangs looser than the front but still hugging my bottom nicely. Again I ordered my regular clothing size and I'm glad I did because these are very true to size just like the bra; I'd be happy to order more in my size and be confident that they would fit me.



To complete my review I have worn the set a few times and it has been washed a few times, the set is made from Polyamide and Elastane, the bra states to hand wash but the briefs can be put on a 40 degree wash. I hand washed the bra the first time round and it come out just as new but the next few times I've threw it in the washing machine on the lingerie setting. The set has washed well and the quality is just as new each time. I know I'll get a lot of wear out of this set which also means they are great value for money.
